LOYAL TO YOUR MOVEMENT

My interest in rehabilitation started young - not in the clinic, but in second chances.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER, SOPHIE

I’ve always been drawn to the rebuild. I grew up rehabilitating rescue horses, before finding it easier to communicate with people. I believe in stepping outside of your comfort zone, to remove the barriers and limitations. There are people all over the world, proving there is always a way to move freely. You just need to find a way through.

That mindset shaped everything that followed.

I studied Strength & Conditioning and Rehabilitation at Cardiff Metropolitan, then completed my MSc in Physiotherapy in Sheffield. I’ve worked in NHS orthopaedics, private MSK clinics in Leeds, and on ultra marathons around the world — supporting athletes through 20-mile races to 250km endurance events in the Jordanian desert, Tanzanian safari, and the mountains of UTMB in Chamonix.

But my work isn’t just about sport.

I specialise in complex trauma rehabilitation. Helping people rebuild after major injuries and polytrauma incidents. The initial care for these kinds of injuries is amazing, but far too often people are left to figure life out alone. My job is to help you move better than you ever thought possible, and keep removing barriers and limitations.

Who We Are

Comebacks are greater than setbacks.

Rehab isn’t about getting you “back to normal.”

It’s about showing you how to move, train, and live better than you ever though possible.’

At Phyx, you don’t just attend sessions. You join a team.

We guide every stage — from medical advocacy and referrals to high-level strength and ballistic training. We don’t just restore movement. We build resilience, capacity, and belief.

This is The Comeback Society.
Uniting people who choose to rebuild.

TOGETHER.
